The steps you have taken to educate people regarding Linux is appealing. Keep up with what you are doing. I hope one day, people will know the truth and power of free softwares and they will know their real powers of freedom.

Hope for the day, when all people in Nepal and all across the globe will be using the Open Source Software.

This is really nice step for open source, now what i think is that this blog should publish article on which linux distro to use, why to use, and inform people about the alternative software that can replace commercial software, like open office for MS office . IMO, this blog has included only negative views against windows, I think this won’t help people to switch to linux or opensource.

Thanks for your feedback Samir. But this blog is not the best place for that. We have to stay focused around the topic of the blog. And we haven’t had time to write articles on this blog for sometime now. But we hope to resume it soon.

a bit confused whether ur site focuses more on disliking MS, or on guiding the beginners in Linux. If it’s the latter, then count me in. My pc is ageing, and I don’t seem to be buying/upgrading anytime soon. Could u give me the minimum hardware specifications for an interesting version of Linux?

Hi She,
This site focuses more on exposing Microsoft strategies and our views on them. But that does not mean we are not interested on guiding people to use Linux. We will post on that topic too. But the primary focus will still be on Microsoft’s activities.

About your PC and Linux, if you want to run a Desktop Linux with all the effects, you will need a decent hardware configuration. However, you can run Linux if you choose not to use all the bells and whistles. Rather than us suggesting different Linux distros by guessing your hardware configuration, we’d like you to specify your hardware configs yourself so that we can suggest. Please include the amount of RAM, everything you know about your processor, your motherboard and graphics card in your specification. Screen shots of DirectX diagnostics (Start>Run>dxdiag) will be of help.

La mulaharu bhana, dont blame windows. There are lots of nice software for windows like Autocad 2011,Visual studio 2010,maximum torrent for windows…ANd I use Linux ‘s Back Track only to hack and crack..So its not worth for normal user.Linux is for HAckers only.

I hate windows because
It says,
“You may be a victim of software counterfeiting”

Febru_Cracker: Is the Linux only for Hackers? I think it is the alternate option of Windows. Isn’t it?
